Smoooove Santana - Miracle Child (short film) (Release Date: 5/27/22)

Kicking it off we have Smoooove Santana with his latest visual release for his song “Miracle Child.” The song comes from his January album, Tana Bidness, available on all streaming platforms. Connecting with YellowTape Films to bring this record to life with a cinematic style visual. Telling a short story from his perspective in the streets and having god watching over him on his journey. The visual is fitting to the overall message and makes for a smooth listen along with the imagery Smoooove provides. Tapping into a personal story to bring the world of Tana to the world, this one was very telling about the spirit of Smoooove as an artist.

$inClar3 - This That Song (Release Date: 5/25/22)

Taking it up next is So Cal’s finest, $inClar3 with her latest single titled “This That Song.” She lets go of this one detailing a wild night out in the Biggest Little City. Everyone has had to deal with a hater at some point and this is $in’s story about dealing with her own. A feel good track despite the heat behind it, reminiscent of some cult classics of the past. $inClar3 is influenced by the old school with a modern twist and this track is a supporting example of that. $in best defense is a good offense so she does what she has to when it comes drama. There’s no time for that, even though she spent time in a small town, she doesn’t have the small mindset. So she’s on to bigger and better things once the problems have been handled.

BXGGZ - Wishlist (Release Date: 5/27/22)

For this record, we take it across the pond for upcoming UK artist named BXGGZ. He connected with LinkUp TV, a platform highlighting UK Rap music, for his latest video named “Wishlist.” A smooth, bouncy record filled with stylish flows. There has been quite a few Hip Hop acts from out in the UK to make their wave known over here in the states, however, BXGGZ carries a style that stands out from their well known representatives. With distinct articulation, abrupt flow changes, and alternating rhyme schemes. Outside of technical ability, the man is talking his shit in a real nice way. It is catchy and contagious with every listen. This is a real gem that not too many are up on yet, we expect this to be in rotation for a bit longer. Get familiar with him and stay tuned to see what’s next from this UK Emcee.

Doc Dolla featuring Drisker - Boss Activity (Release Date: 5/27/22)

We are on a roll with the heaters, this time its courtesy of Doc Dolla featuring Drisker. The single with music video is titled “Boss Activity” and is exactly what the title suggests. The Richmond representative talks that Boss Talk the only way a Bay Area individual can. With slick codes and enough style to make a blind woman go crazy. Both artists go in on some player shit, laying down how the game goes all while making it look smooth. The visuals are clean and emphasize the content of the song itself. A real life movie to match the lifestyle that comes from the place they do. Come take a step into the life of a boss and what it feels like to bust them moves in traffic. Last appearance on the WW Forecast, we saw Doc Dolla feature on a Jimmy Teflon track. Months later and the grind has only accelerated. Tap in with the new record and see where Dolla has been at lately with the music,

Sterling Jaye - Man Up (Release Date: 5/27/22)

Up to bat next, we got Reno, Nevada’s Sterling Jaye with his latest visual for his Youtube channel exclusive “Man Up.” The FullPrice Media directed visual features the artist celebrating growth through the ups and downs of life. Touching on a bunch of different topics that a young man goes through when growing up the way Sterling did. He might have collected a couple L’s over the years but they always played out to be lessons. Sometimes you got to take it to the chin and straight from square one. When climbing up with ladder, a step might slip, and you’ll fall down a couple notches. It’s possible to regain that footing and take accountability for what you can control going forward.

House of Miagi - Too Late (Release Date: 5/27/22)

One more trip across the pond to tap in with House of Miagi, a Nigerian born, London based artist. He is fresh off the release of his latest single titled “Too Late.” A smooth concoction of sounds inspired by new age R&B and Dancehall fusion. An artist with many inspirations sonically, coming to create a distinct style of his own. Unlike many R&B acts from the UK in recent times, House of Miagi provides a undeniable new sound to the genre and is a delight. Truly refreshing from what is previously thought of UK R&B. We are excited to see more from this unique artist and what his path is looking like. If you are unfamiliar to the genre or scene out in London, be sure to check in with House of Miagi first.

If you want to follow the artist, you can do so right here.

Ryan Brinnand - Altitude (Release Date: 5/23/22)

To close out the list, we have the Reno representative Ryan Brinnand with his latest visual release titled “Altitude.” The JP Films production, features the artist in his natural element. A true family man that pursues his dreams and responsibility in a balanced manner. Giving the listeners a quick insight of his life, headspace, and the nuances of maintaining it all in harmonious balance. Telling us and showing us so much in just under two minutes long, you get a real feel for Ryan Brinnand’s character. His morals and values stand just as tall as his pride for his family. All while making it sound fly as hell with a skilled penmanship behind the verse. This one is creative as it is heartwarming, a genuine expression of self over soulful instrumentation. Not to mention, the flows and lyrical ability are just too damn slick to not appreciate. This one felt as nostalgic as much as it did motivating.
