Jay Grindz - Sincere (Album) (Release Date: 5/20/22)

Coming out of Las Vegas, NV, we have Jay Grindz with his latest tape “Sincere.” A 9 track offering from the NV based MC, filled with melodic flows that allow you to reflect and cope with the hurdles life throws at you. Speaking on some of his own experiences with story telling and descriptive flows to create images for the listeners. The vibes are sourced from the heart, hence, the name Sincere. It feels as if Jay went into the booth and let his mind, heart, spirit do the writing for him. A perfect tape to ride out to and get into your bag alongside the music. If this is your first time getting familiar with Jay, then you won’t be disappointed by this introduction.

Listen to the title track “Sincere” down below and then stream the album on all platforms. Be sure to follow the artist right here.

Smoke Loud - Misery Love Company (Release Date: 5/20/22)

Up next, we have one of Reno, NV’s finest, Smoke Loud with his latest visual offering. An exclusive on his YouTube channel, the song is called “Misery Loves Company” featuring 3700Luk. The HardKnock produced track, got the video treatment from HighVisions28 and is equally as clean as the song itself. The icy voice Smoke provides over the instrumental is contagious and has you nodding right along with it. The feature adds to this vibe and brings a contrasting perspective to Smoke’s. His beat selection always compliments the delivery with every line he drops. With enough quotable matter to compare with a Lil Wayne track. We are excited to have this one in rotation as Smoke Loud always has the perfect energy to get shit done to.

If you are new to Smoke Loud and his music, be sure to watch below, stream his music, and follow him right here.

Traplife Uno - Go Off (Remix) (Release Date: 5/17/22)

Our next heater of the week comes from Traplife Uno with his spin the “Go Off (Remix).” Directed by TopRankin, this 2 and half minute track features the upcoming spitter doing exactly what the song says. Going off! Not too far from his last show in the Reno, NV area with Lil Pete, Traplife Uno has been keeping the momentum going with releases like this on his YouTube channel and singles on streaming platforms. Keeping the listeners supplied with the latest dope he cooked up for the headphones to consume! We have no doubt this artist will be seen more often around this parts with the work he is putting in lately. If you haven’t already, please go check out the video below and stream his music on all platforms now!

Do not forget to give the artist a follow right here.

Yhung T.O. - Rhythm & Thug (Release Date: 5/19/22)

Next on our weekly selections, comes from a Bay Area heavy hitter, the RBE representative Yhung T.O. and his latest track “Rhythm & Thug.” The latest visual offering from the artist, directed by ShotByCammJBoyd, who is a regular name around these parts. The two came together to bring this G$V produced record to life. Yhung T.O. creates a vibe inspired by R&B sounds, acoustic instruments from a street perspective. Playing to the name of the record, speaking on the lifestyle of a real one that all demographics can relate to. The writing is broad enough for listeners to relate to even if the experiences are not the same as their own. The emotions expressed are enough to make that connection. The Rhythm & Thug perspective is fun but still unique to much of what has been done in the melodic street rap. A style that only Yhung T.O. can provide.

Have you been keeping up with RBE’s Yhung T.O.? Follow him right here.

OTM - Chop Suey (Release Date: 5/20/22)

As we continue with some heavy hitter’s in the underground, we have OTM (Off The Mussle) with their latest music video for the track “Chop Suey.” The LA based duo, represents for the Stinc Team movement and has been putting in work all year long by flooding the streets. In true Stinc fashion, they uphold the values, look, and charisma of the late Drakeo The Ruler. Not slowing down at all, OTM has released a handful of singles since last year and two full length mixtapes, as well as deluxe versions for both in this year alone. Continually improving and developing into their own lane under the Stinc Team name. BluePesos and Duffy are a dynamic duo that keep the haters guessing with the lingo. If you listening slow, you might not be able to crack the code but that shit still slides regardless. It is contagious and the perfect soundtrack to go get a bag to.

Be sure to follow the group page right here and be ready to watch them take off!

J.ME - Block Party (Release Date: 5/21/22)

The 805’s Queen of R&B is back with her latest single. The name of the song is “Block Party” and true to the sound J.Me has been crafting for the last 3 years since she has been on the Weather Watcher radar. The chicana influenced modern R&B/soul and g-funk that we have never heard presented in the way that J.ME has. Creating her own lane and taking her craft to a new level with every release. Her flows are balanced, easy to bounce to and lyrics that make you want to join in. We are excited about J.ME’s come up, this is her first single on all platforms released this year. Hopefully this means a new project is in the works. Last year we saw two EPs and 5 singles from her. With two more EPs and 4 singles in 2020. All an evolution to this wave that J.ME is bringing out of the Ventura/Oxnard area.

If you are not familiar, you need to get with it and follow her right here.

Zelda - Reflections (Release Date: 5/21/22)

To close out the list, we have Zelda’s latest single “Reflections.” The second single of the year, Zelda lets listeners in a little deeper into her mind. Speaking on the sides of her that she thought she forgot but thinking back on past experiences brings back these feelings in a way that feels fresh. The visceral approach to this one is heavy, yet very relatable. As a deep thinking individual, a lot of feelings spoken in these verse feel as if they were spoken directly to moments in my past. Moments that may have affected me in a way that I tend to downplay but ignoring them only made it stronger. So embracing the scars that have been collected, those suffered and inflicted. This life is crazy and we do what we can to cope with all the nuances of its unfair ways. Although self reflection causes you to face the aspects of you that are hard to deal with, it is an act of self service. Much like a wild fire, laying waste to the bountiful life that once occupied its spaced, growths comes from the soil laden with the ashes of the embers of our trauma. You might have to lose it all to find it again from within. Without going too deep into it from our perspective, listen to the song for yourself. The substance in it is crucial and a truly remarkable moment from a writer’s perspective.

Be sure to tap in with Zelda and her upcoming music right here.
