Treazy - $ecret (Official Audio)

They say how the fuck you do that?, you go hard like every day.
It seem like you never run out of anything to say.
You never take a break, even after you make a play.
I told them that it’s simple, man there’s only one way.
It’s cause I love it, uh huh, I love it!
— Treazy ($ecret)

What’s good y’all? Once again, you’re tuned in with the Weather Watcher radar. Today’s forecast comes by way of 775 based artist Treazy. The North Valley spitter blessed his listeners on, July 7th, with his latest single titled “$ecret” on all streaming platforms. A short but substantial offering, with the production handled by Yung Milkcrate, this is nothing short of being a flat out banger. Once again, Treazy taps in with his peers of the local music scene, having Josh Alexander on the cover art and mix/master work by Smoke Skreezy. Execution from all parties involved makes this song a good time. On his last release “Feelings”, Treazy kept the humble vibes but this time he’s out his feelings. Treazy’s in a brand new bag with this one.For the song itself, it’s another colorful expression for the artist named Treazy. This one is another gem.

“Break a bitch, take this shit anywhere I wanna go. I’ll always deliver, you can count on me like Dominos. Money get you everything but what the fuck you want it fo’? If you wanna flip it, then there’s something that you gotta know.”

The sample kicks in and the drops entices you to immediately get invested in the sounds from the jump. Treazy gets right into the hook and sets up the bounce for a seamless transition to the lone verse of the record. In his writing process, Treazy takes the words in his text and turns them into brush strokes on a canvas. Creating a setting fitting for any summer night function, with enough IDGAF sentiments sprinkled in with people hating on what they know nothing about to turn up with. Taking the time to talk his shit and let loose a bit. The song satiates feelings of needing to find some sort of release. The simple words serving as an outlet for the listener to relate with. Treazy then exhibits a subtle shift in flow with shorter, chopped up syllable play and metaphors. A respectable trait found in many seasoned MC’s. Listen closely and you sense a bit of what Treazy has had in his mind. Keeping it simple done right can also be profound. Treazy exudes self awareness as the verse closes out.

“I still got some work to do and talk just like I made it. I be tryna come correct and talk just like I’m faded. Fuck the shit they talkin’ bout I’m tryna be ya favorite. All that cool guy shit overrated, I’M JUST SAYIN!”

Treazy does this shit naturally and will always do what he feels makes sense to him when it comes to his craft. Allow this track to be a reminder that Treazy wouldn’t compromise his integrity as an artist to try to gain an ear. He is simply doing him and whoever gravitates to it won’t be disappointed. It’s no secret, he does it cause he loves it. Put this in rotation and get your playlist right for summer 2021. Whether you outside with it or at the crib, play this.
