What’s good everyone? We been working here at the Weather Watcher to bring the readers (and now viewers) new types of content! Our first guest for an in-studio interview and vlog session was, none other than the Reno, NV native, ZP Ratik.

ZP Ratik has been a major factor in his local scene, not just online but before social media was mandatory for artists to engage in. We sat with him at his in-home studio to talk a little bit about his background. Topics consisting of the following: beginning making music, the progress from the past to now, how he began to get fans/shows, how long it took for him to develop as an artist, who are his biggest local influences, showing love to his peers, the inspiration behind his latest project and more. After the brief interview, ZP Ratik previewed quite a few unreleased tracks and demonstrated his recording process to see what goes in to the records the listeners get to hear when they are finished. The experience was really telling of the self sufficiency ZP Ratik embodies in all his endeavors. We were able to catch up with him and get footage of the impromptu session.
