Young Bolt - Fully Loaded (Official Music Video)

What’s good y’all? We are back with the latest forecast on the dopest artists of the region. Today we tap in with a No Town favorite, Young Bolt. He’s been putting it down for his city for some time now and is amongst the top names in the music scene when it comes to the streets. With an affinity for melodic cadences and seamless flows as an artist, it’s going to be some good shit if you see the name Young Bolt on it. This time he released an exclusive to his YouTube channel. The song is titled “Fully Loaded” and gets the visual treatment directed by Famous Flako, another well known name in the Reno area.

“Fully loaded, right in town with that weapon. In my section, catch him lacking we gon stretch him.”

When you been involved with the activities, the life begins to take a toll on you. Keeping your head on a swivel becomes second nature. If they on offense, then be ready to play hard defense. There’s not much to change the situation, once sides begin to start losing their people. Feuds are fueled into grudges and anything goes at that point. So while it’s up there, you get used to it being stuck there. Bolt moves how he has to and based on who he runs with, he knows not everyone is going to be cool when they see him. The vibes are strictly to stay ready so he don’t have to get ready. Loyalty and grind are really the only things expected. Other than that, you never really know what you’re going to get.

“Why this shit got me stressing, steady fighting demons with that weapon. They don’t know the pain, late nights in the rain. I’ll never fold, never change.”

Young Bolt looks forward to days where he can take him and his brothers out the mud. People don’t know what he and his loved ones been through. Not that it matters to them or not, you can’t judge. It is what it is, it’s the life chosen. You act accordingly and things play out how they need to. For Bolt, he provides the soundtrack for those who can relate. Whether it was choice or force, if you’re in the life, you should take heed to Bolt’s advice. In a small city, you’re bound to run into problems when you least expect it. Caught be putting yourself in a position to get too comfortable. Rest In Peace to the solid ones who fell victim to the lifestyle. We live on and put something in the air for them. Keeping their names alive and ensuring they did not die in vain. The video depicts Bolt reflecting on the new life the city takes on upon nightfall.

Scenery of sirens, evading the law, and cruising through the empty streets contextualize the imagery Bolt provides in his music. You get to see the artist in his element, moments alone and with his day ones. Trouble appears to follow him upon the night but Bolt being Bolt, he’s going make sure he makes it out. So when you hear this joint, roll up a Cookies pack and burn one for our loved ones who we lost to the game or those currently in it. Be sure, however you move, that you know how to finesse your way through it. Long nights eventually leading to better days. Until then, its keep your head up and ten toes down. Often find myself on night drives playing this and really feeling connected to the city.

Young Bolt is a unique talent to his city and continually improves in his craft. If you have not yet subscribed, click the channel in the video above and do that. Give him a follow on social media below and stay tuned for his perspective on a side of the city most do not really know about. Even if you don’t know anyone connected to the streets like that, this song is a universal vibe and can be played for all walks of life to enjoy

Bozzy - Catch Me (Official Music Video)

What’s good everyone? The Weather Watcher radar has been collecting all the most essential vibes over on this side. Today’s forecast is courtesy of the Santa Rosa born, Truckee raised, and now Reno staple, Bozzy with his latest visual. The For//You produced video is for his single titled “Catch Me.” Now dropping consistent music is nothing new for the artist known as Bozzy. However, this song marks a milestone in his creative journey. Bozzy takes a musical leap with his artistic sound and introduces acoustics to his long list of versatility. Taking a risk like this, when executed properly, opens up your avenues of exposure to win over listeners who may not other wise stumble into the genres that Bozzy traditionally dabbles in. To say the least, Bozzy does just that. The song is a gem with crucial song writing to make it hit home.

“Catch me before I fall, oh whoa oh. Cause I got another problem and I can’t seem to solve it, no. And it’s knocking at the front door but I’m leaving out the back door. Cause I can’t seem to express, all the weight that’s on my chest.”

Being “right” all the time isn’t right. When trying to communicate, it’s easy to forget that your perception is only the experience you’ve felt. It takes teaching others, and unlearning indiscernible traits that you’ve picked up, to elevate any connection. Easier said than done when you find yourself in the driver seat. At some point in the journey, external stimuli will be thrown your way. Inevitably, these things create wear and tear. The maintenance required to reduce the likelihood of breaking down is never a forethought. Being wrapped up in all the fun of seeing and feeling new things alongside another on your trip is only the surface. The truth is when things start to fall apart rather quickly, you are brought back to every opportunity you had to address the issues. The moment you let one slip through the crack, you initially have introduce yourself to the demise of the union being built between individuals.

“And if I’m being honest, I would’ve made a promise. That I’ll stay right here. Have no fear, take my hand and let me steer.”

When you take the time to hold yourself responsible, you find that everything that felt was out of your control could have been prevented. Granted, would you have not known if this was your first ride? Perhaps you have been on this trip with many people in the past. More often than not, every trip feels like reading an upside map in uncharted territory. The terrain of love is not for the weak or naive. At times, it works out ideally and others may not see the destination before leaving each other on the side of the road. There’s really no guide for how to get to where you want to be in these types of journeys. Sometimes you crash and find yourself unable to put it back all together. There’s nothing else to do but humbly look at yourself and embrace the pain. Acknowledge what your heart yearns for and speak your peace. Don’t force the drive or try to overcorrect yourself as that does not benefit. If you find yourself in the bind of mismatched growth and one takes off over the other, please be kind to yourself.

It could all be so simple, if we could remain on the same page but that’s the part of the story that makes the rest of the book worth finding out what is going to happen next. So to anyone going through the excruciating pain of a love wreck, just know that this is the beginning of your ascension. The tears that are never ending, the abysmal depths of depression, and the lingering remorse of words left unsaid will fade away. There’s no better teacher than humility. Be genuine with your scars for those who have the same as you need to hear it. It serves as a reminder to you and them that things are worth pushing through. Accepting yourself and the shortcomings you have had is the metamorphosis required before becoming yourself again. You can’t learn if mistakes aren’t made but owning up to them in the mirror teaches character. Once you hold yourself accountable, you will be ready to make a new approach and learn how to properly maintain it. Whether it’s with the one you lost or one you have yet to find. You never really know who’s willing to catch you until you really trust yourself to fall.

With a mind full of love and words of sincerity, Bozzy provides a story that many struggle to articulate on a daily basis. Every situation is unique but this right here really encapsulated the feeling of drifting away from the one who really made it all make sense. Without them, you may feel there’s no you. That’s not true at all but there’s no rush in trying to learn what you love about yourself again. Take all the time you need and you’ll thank yourself later.

Ryan Brinnand & Young Presley - Body Spanglish (Official Music Video)

What’s good y’all? We back with some late summer heat. Today’s forecast is courtesy of Ryan Brinnand featuring Young Presley, with their latest single titled “Body Spanglish.” Visual treatment produced and directed by JP Films on this sensual, upbeat record. Both artists are major contributors to their local music scenes and come together for a special collaboration. An ode to everyone’s favorite language, body language. What better way to get close to that one across the room then on the dance floor. Ryan Brinnand and Young Presley provides listeners with a vibe to set the mood up proper. So when you are getting that message from that one, listen to it. With an open mind, you’ll find yourself in the mix with a variety of different languages. So speak that.

“Ven conmigo, I just want to see you. Quitate la ropa, let me take it off ya. The way you move, the way you look, you drive me crazy. Let me get some time, show you, bebe, no juegues.”

To make a connection with a bad one and the energy being reciprocated can be a crucial situation. Once the embers of lust are sparked up, there’s nothing you can do to stop the flame at that point. Whatever I got to do to get next to you, I’m on it. Ryan sets up the scene as he is on the hook and starts off with the first verse. With an impressive display of his bilingual ability, he comes in with the proper cadence on the latin inspired beat. It’s easy to get hooked and really brings you into the experience being created. In the video, the artist brings to life this mystery woman of interest with an alluring example of such beauty that can be found on a memorable night. With an elegance unparalleled, how could he not pursue. When the energy is right and it’s meant to be, it’s meant for we. If both parties give it a chance, it can be something worth the time. If not for long, for now will do. With music, drinks, and good company, the avenue to escape is well paved and the path is fitting for more than one. If what she’s speaking is appealing then speak that back and figure each other’s language out.

“Sway through the moonlight, I’m lost in your eyes. Mesmerized by the way you move, for the night baby I’m all you. Soy todo, tu yo.”

Things hit different when there’s friction. From the jump it’s hard to interpret but the more you listen to it, the more you begin to understand. To find yourself on the same frequency with another is peak intimacy, regardless of the outcome. A moment as rare as this is not to be passed up. Whether it be with a long time lover or a new introduction. You attract what you put out, so when something falls in your lap, trust in it. After a smooth first verse, with the mainly Spanglish perspective. The vibes further develop as Young Presley comes in second with the verse in Spanglish. All on the same vibe, with his take on the body language he’s picking up with the shorty that has his eye. The contrast elevates the record and gives off premium reggaeton vibes. A fun verse to sing a long with as he rides the beat into the night.

All in all, this is an addictive record that all walks of life can appreciate. So if you got someone in mind, whose body language is speaking to you then play this to start speaking with them. Watch the video, everyone involved played their role and execution was immaculate. Be sure to stream the song down below and follow the artists on social media. Stay tuned for what comes next out of the 775 from these two.

Stu J The Vamp “More Than Lust - EP” + Deluxe Version

Release: August 2nd, 2021Deluxe Release: August 3rd, 2021

Release: August 2nd, 2021

Deluxe Release: August 3rd, 2021

What’s good y’all? We back with some heat from the WW Radar. It’s been a little while but the vibes are unmatched. Today’s forecast comes from the section of Reno, NV. The coverage is on Stu J The Vamp and his latest release “More Than Lust.” His first EP release since 2020’s “BAD Nostalgia.” Stu hasn’t left listeners completely dry as he dropped off a hand full of singles and features since then. The best part about his latest release, is that it comes in a two part offering with the original EP and Deluxe edition with a set of bonus songs. Without further delay, let’s get into the EP. Run it up!

The first track off the project is titled “Galaxy Road” and is accompanied by a set of visuals for the intro of this project. A Vamp Productions (@jkthevisual & @stujthevamp) offering depicts everyone’s favorite heart broken vampire adjusting to the winds of change. The song itself describes the difficulty of getting used to not being around someone you were used to. The love or connection may have been one sided or unbalanced to say the least. However, it still takes an emotional toll. Being able to face things alone, after a situation-ship, is a true testament of self love. The good and bad moments are not for nothing. Stu J reflects on the times where he realized the red flags after the fact. No need to dwell, Stu found himself in his bag and those who left him high n’ dry are regretting it. Things might be different but change is good.

Track number 2 on the project, “1992,” shows the confident side of Stu J. A bad situation will not cause Stu J to forget his worth. The smooth, synth sprinkled beat allows Stu to remind these whack boys who he is. He’s ready to prove his skill to anyone who may still be doubting. It’s been a good amount of time of sharpening his skill set and now he’s ready to weaponize it. There’s no competition that can throw Stuey J off his game. Songs like these really encapsulate the star power Stu possesses. The man can sing, rap, dance, edit videos, and take your bitch. Just a few of the things he has been perfecting since 1992. If that ain’t dope, I don’t know what is. “All Vamped out, like I’m Wesley. City on my back, I ain’t stressed out. Girl why you playing? I’m the best out.” The best part comes at the change up in cadence and beat in the last 20 seconds. Stu J puts the nail in the coffin as the song closes cause he killed the scene with one record.

A smooth transition at the midway point of the EP for track 3 titled “Bad Notes.” The appreciation for this vibe is understated over here. A record produced by the talented Bozzy (@therealbozzy). The nostalgia factor on this is unbelievable, it takes me back to memories that I am not even sure I really had. Something about this song says it’s something we have experienced but was lost for some time. Stu J provides an extranoematic frequency that anyone with a history of love can resonate with. Stu takes a introspective perspective and expresses some accountability he’s realizing after the fact. Both sides may have been wrong and that’s never the issue, it’s human nature. What isn’t okay, is sweeping it under the rug or not taking the time to learn a new perspective. Every decision made comes with a result, so inherently, everything that happens in these situations is caused by you. Sometimes you just got to charge it to the game, admit your wrongs and learn from it. What you take away from a situation are your notes. The good and bad ones can’t be predicted but they prepare us for what is next in our journey. “You said I’m selfish, guess there’s things I missed. I should have known this would have been bad though. We started things off on a bad note. This is what I get.”

Track 4 comes in with an ethereal experience on “Waterfalls.” Perhaps the strongest record in the tracklisting, this highlights all of Stu J’s best qualities as a recording artist. The finer points of song writing, structure, adlib placement, audio engineering are to be appreciated by those who make music and those who consume it. The quality of the sonics are comparable to a chart topping record. Touching a topic that all adults can appreciate. “I can’t swim, when I get pulled in the night. I can’t swim, when I get lost in your eyes. I can’t swim, I’m getting swept by the tide. I can’t swim, you’re taking me for a ride.” The lure for lust is something more people should be honest about. Stu J does just that in the most gentleman like way. The song is curated in such a way, it makes it sound like it can be played anywhere. To articulate the desires of the flesh in a way that normalizes it in a mature way. It takes a deeper ear to catch the content of the record because it’s so addicting. “Waterfalls” is audio euphoria that draws endorphins indiscriminately. This song gets the official Weather Watcher 🌡 heat check stamp.

The closing record, “Negative,” finds the artist setting his own boundary and opens the door to an awkward conversation. To live is to love and to love is to live. Somewhere in between friction makes it’s way in when different individuals are involved. “Don’t be so negative, I’ll be your medicine. I’ll take you on a ride, come be my ride or die.” Call it resentment or poignant jest but when you are at wits end you’ll say just about anything to be felt. Sometimes the tones under the voice or eye rolls stem from emotional trauma that has nothing to do with now. Taking accountability for the projection instead of trying to heal can be the last option. Sometimes you just got to put it out there that you’re not the enemy. The justification for the walls are there and their truth is valid but if a guy is willing to see past that emotional by product then lighten up on him. It’s easy to dish out the pain held in, but when confronted with a genuine opportunity for an elevated level of intimacy, it can be daunting. Ladies have it hard, I can’t blame them. Take the time to assess your situation and do the math. You may find the answer was more obvious than you think. If you don’t want to help yourself by taking that chance with a fly Vamp then deuces.

Have you heard the project? What did you think?

See below for the set of bonus songs off the Deluxe and Spotify stream links under.

The deluxe is an eclectic blend of the different vibes Stu J has collected over the last few months. Finishing up old snippets of unreleased songs that friends of his really enjoyed. You see a more natural side of Stu J and the influential roots he possesses. The songs are great insight to what you can expect from Stu J’s catalog here in the deluxe. Although the style is constantly evolving, the arsenal of variety benefits his overall artistry. You can go back and really see the artist Stu J the Vamp filling into his own shoes. A transparency found only in true artists.

OG David James - California (Official Music Video)

What’s good everyone? You tuning in to the latest forecast from the WW radar. Closing out the night with a special occasion. Today’s coverage is due to a collaboration from OG David James and Full Price Media. Coming together to produce a fresh set of cinematic visuals for a staple record in the OG David James catalog. The title of the track is “California” and it’s David’s homage to his home state, as well as the launching pad for his career after leaving Reno.

There was once a time long before this blog, I was able to have my first exchange with David via Twitter. Discussing the topic of talented artists should leave their hometown at some point to relocate to a place of more opportunity. Fast forward, David puts out his next project and spends the next year of his life going through it. Just know David really puts his life into these lyrics and everything you hear is authentic to his experience. After some time of getting it out the mud, David makes the decision to move back to his hometown and go for the dream. Although it was a bummer to see him leave Reno, it was a pivotal moment in his artistic development. Fast forward to now, the work ethic and quality body of work speaks for itself. Transitioning to a new level of artistry, David taps in to his roots to provide us with the borderline, autobiographical record we are covering today. The smooth sample gently invites listeners in and let’s the beat breathe before David goes in. In the visuals, we see the young lyricist just taking a walk to clear his head during a typical, beautiful sunny day. Taking the time to reflect on his journey.

“Had to leave the town just to run it in. Mufuckas calling me, asking me ‘David where you been?’ But life in LA, I been so shadowed and optimistic. Cause back in Reno they acted like my flow wasn’t different.”

Back when others couldn’t see the vision, David never kept his head down. Having been through the worst, he knew that there’s nothing to lose. The fear isn’t in his spirit as he’s seen it all by now, at least for what those who have been in shoes could perceive. Regardless of what was going on throughout any period of life, he had the right people telling him he had worth. Enough to keep the fire alive. Life could kick you down every chance you look away but there’s never not an opportunity to build yourself back up and persevere through the adverse conditions. That “can’t be broken” attitude is what the Nine7even and OG David James brand. There’s no way he’s going back now. He’s grateful for ever second chance he ever received to turn his situation around. The blessing are never taken for granted.

”I ain’t trying to complicate but shit ain’t really adding up when I try calculate it. See I’m just not the type to go interrogate it. I’ve always kept this shit a thousand, probably why I’m hated.”

Trusting in god’s plan for you is only part of it, the rest is on you to make it happen. When David sees a sign, he trusts in himself to make the right decision for his situation. If there’s one thing you need to know about OG David James, is that he will tell you what’s on his mind. The ability to clearly communicate your stance or expectations can have mixed reviews from others. That’s not what he’s focused on and that right there is something that comes with character. The boundary David sets to protect his integrity as a human being. Since leaving his second home, Reno, he has been feeling some energy change from old friends as he integrates with the changes to his current situation. Networking and making positive connections is a big part of moving up in David’s world. You come to realize, people come and go. There’s no time to get hung up on any opinions. Instead of blocking his blessings, David let’s it be water under the bridge. He’s on a mission to be great and to be a voice for those who feel like him but can’t express themselves. His story is one that many can relate with in some way. This music is therapy for him.

“Really took me time to empty out the pain. Me and daddy on the streets looking for the change. They shoot it up like a needle, four brothers tryna cross, I feel like we the Beatles.”

Starting from the bottom was once the case but that plays to your advantage after surpassing the hardest parts of enduring it. With a lot on his shoulders and family still going through it, David is locked in more than ever. Elevating his standards so the universe can meet him there. His time spent in California, where the weed and women are top shells, has benefited him well. Finding better head space in a creative environment to expand on different encompassing avenues as branded artist. There’s no need to add fuel to the fire because David has the tiger blood in him already. Once he reaches his next goal, there will always be another. So enjoy the vibes, tap in with OG David James for some refreshing wisdom. Expect much more on the horizon for him as well. Follow him and the director down below. Run it all the way the fuck up.
