So let’s not prolong the forecast, see what’s been some of the favorites from the WW Music Forecast & Coverage team. Run it up!

Brooksy - Rainy Studio Days (Release Date: 4/27/22)

Kicking off the list is the Winnemucca, NV artist, Brooksy drops his latest single. This one is titled “Rainy Studio Days” and feels just like the title implies, tunes for a rainy day. Brooksy takes the time to reflect on the world and the inner working of his mind as he takes a moment to stay inside due to weather conditions. Although stuck inside, he lets his mind roam free and expressions take the wheel. This song is smooth, bouncy, and thought provoking. All while maintaining a fun atmosphere, this one was cleverly curated and has a high replay value.

Sequoyah Fox - Taboo (feat. Bozzy) (Release Date: 4/28/22)

The next gem on today’s collection comes by way of Truckee, California & Portugal, with Sequoyah Fox. A sultry, silk like vocalist who strokes her brush of various emotions across every musical canvas she comes across. This single, “Taboo,” is no different. This time around she commissions, long time collaborator, Bozzy for a feature. As stated by Sequoyah, this song is “in honor and respect for my late grandpa who continually inspired me to ‘Never give up on my dreams.’ This one is for you Pops. Thank you for holding me in life and guiding me in death. &always pushing me to be my best, do my best and live life.” Bozzy joins in and contributes tastefully to the whirlwind of feelings yielded by this song itself.

This one is one of the most elegant listens we have had here at WW in a while. Be sure to give it a stream and follow Sequoyah Fox right here.

JUWASE - Limitless (feat. $inClar3) (Release Date: 4/24/22)

For song three on the list, we introduce JUWASE of Southern California. He recently dropped a visual for his last single “Limitless” featuring $inClar3. The two California based artists linked up for a smooth banger that people who live the player lifestyle can vibe with. Taking the scenery from Reno, NV and filming with @Highvisions28 to bring the visual to life. Relying on the night scene for a easy going aesthetic, this song is perfect for any night rides. Juwase gently glides across the beat to bring an infectious bounce that you can nod your head to. Last but not least, $inClar3 hops on to give her take as a lady player. All boss talk that no simps can relate to. This one hit a little different.

Find out for yourself and see if you are rocking with the P vibes! Be sure to follow Juwase right here.

Cast Away$ - Maybe I Should Go? (Release Date: 4/29/22)

Next up to bat, is the Lake Tahoe kings, Cast Away$ with their new single “Maybe I Should Go?” Fresh off their EP ‘333’ releasing last month, they are not slowing down at all. This time, the trio comes together for a single displaying their group chemistry and how sharp it is. This song right here is special, touching on the repercussions of toxic patterns in love. The heaviest of emotions is something a lot of us are struggling with at varying degrees. We all cope differently and hold weights accordingly. Sometimes being selfish is the selfless thing to do, even if it is intimidating. When the time is right for you, move on. Only you can tolerate what you allow in your life. Things get better because you will always have yourself to be there for. A special message from the both in North Lake.

Down the list we go, we have our most recent Interviewee, Doc Gruesome. For his latest single “Uma Thurman” featuring Ztarve. A heavy hitting banger, with notes of grunge, horror core, boom bap-trap influences. This one is catchy and clever with the wordplay. Both verses are matched in themes, energy, and imagery. The level of skill in writing ability, cadence, and overall delivery is consistent with the work ethic possessed by Doc Gruesome. This one is perfect for gym workouts, high intensity activities, or a good time with loud speakers. The audio quality is another highlight from the record, a solid representation of Doc Gruesome’s artistic repertoire.

This one is contagious and will be played for some time over on this side. If you enjoyed this underground banger, then tap in with Doc Gruesome right here.

ZP Ratik - You Don’t Know (Release Date: 4/29/22)

Another new release from a WW Interview alumni, ZP Ratik drops his newest single “You Don’t Know.” A special song with accompanying visuals, detailing the pride ZP has for how far he has come in his city. Reflecting on a journey, where the beginning was full of wonder and to where he is now, able to count up his W’s acquired along the way. He has seen so much change around him and learned about his own capabilities as an artist. One thing is for sure, is no matter how long the city has known him, they don’t know what he had to endure to gain the slightest amount of respect. A grind he cannot take for granted, listen in and let his heart do the speaking. It is one that is not to be missed!

Kayla Rae - Somebody New (Release Date: 4/28/22)

To close out the week in releases, we have Kayla Rae of Reno, NV. A soulful, singer with R&B flair to fit in modern times. The song is titled “Somebody New” and is her first single in a few years. After a brief hiatus, she is back with new music and a new vibe to provide to her supporters. This song right here poses the hard question that young people find themselves pondering. “Is it bad to love somebody, then want somebody new?” These days, distractions are in abundance, and its affecting how we see love in ourselves amongst others. Some days, you realize there’s so many different people who might be right for you. Whether you are able to find them or not, your spirit might call on you to keep your heart open even when its currently preoccupied. It’s never really anyone’s fault, feelings come, they go, and everyone eventually drifts apart one way or another. So be easy on yourself if you are ever questioning where your heart is. As long as you trust its guidance in conjunction for where you want to go in life, then follow that curiousity. This song is special in its own right and truly a highlight from the week.
