The WW x Danny Prophetz Interview
What’s good everybody? Happy WW Day, it has been 1 year since The Weather Watcher has been bringing you Forecast & Coverage from the region’s (Northern NV) finest talent. The journey has been amazing, the page has seen many changes and updates since its inception. Not to mention all the amazing artists/creatives that openly network or interact with the blog. It has been truly fulfilling bringing the spotlight on the best music you may not have heard yet.
What started as an Instagram/Twitter microblog doing song reviews and promo turned into a website. A new logo, courtesy of Abasto.Co, brought the platform to a new level when the written blogs began to release. Not too long after, after much demand, the video content and YouTube channel launched. There is not a moment where The Weather Watcher is not tuned in to the region’s best music. The first year was just the a scratch in the surface, the second year will see only more to uplift the local scene. In celebration of the occasion, we present a new interview from none other than Danny Prophetz.
For those who don’t know, Danny is a fixture in the local music scene of Reno, NV and does a lot to bring light to it. We took the time to sit with him and have a dope discussion about his come up, amongst many other things. He welcomed WW to his studio to discuss the following topics: How He Started, His Early Stage Name, What Inspired the Change, What his Current Movement Is, His Catalog of Current Releases, Plans for the Future, Hosting a Local Radio Show, & more! Be sure to keep an eye out every Saturday night (going into Sunday) at 12am-1pm on Wild 102.9 radio station to hear him host ReUp Radio. If you are not local to Northern NV area, then you can stream from Wild1029.com (or their app) and catch the show weekly. Who knows, you may just hear the WW on there soon..
Be sure to follow him down below and stream his music on Spotify, or any platform you choose. His YouTube/SoundCloud catalog is lengthy as well. Enjoy the music and run it up!
