What’s good y’all? Today the radar is tuning in to Cabo San Lucas by way of Reno with the latest single from Jokesta Fresh & Kiing Khash titled “Loose Lips.” A certified banger for those who are more “start a business, mind your own.” Early premiere of this record, set for streaming platforms on May 25th, was uploaded on the Jokesta Fresh Official YouTube channel yesterday on the 22nd. It has been a productive run for the No Town spitter, with a minimum of 12 releases in the last three months. The consistency is only increasing as the summer is creeping up on us as we mark the days off the calendar.
Jokesta takes over for the hook and starts off the record with a cold verse. The content is as infectious as any with everyone’s favorite mantra: don’t snitch. Jokesta rides the beat with a certain type of bounce that not too many possess. It’s easy to find yourself going crazy with every snare and drum kick of the instrumental, producer credits to Anthony420. This song can’t be played loud enough, easily gets replayed one or two more times before I can move on. The chemistry between the two MC’s really seasons the song overall and make it that much more cohesive.
With the clutch assist comes Kiing Khash on the second verse with the icy vocals and punchlines on moving in silence. In fair warning, don’t cross him or Jokesta if you want to deal with the consequences. It’s a tight rope walk if you have a little bit too much to say on what does not need to be spoke on. Despite the severity of the message, it’s packaged in a way that can turn out the function or get the folks down at the barbershop gigging. The first introduction to Kiing Khash has me looking forward to what he and Jokesta got next.
