SavyBalboa - Fly N***a Freestyle (official music video)
SavyBalboa just released a new visual from his track “Fly N***a Freestyle” off the newly released project “First Class: Red Eye” - EP. We will be reviewing the EP and dropping a Weather Report on it very soon. In the meantime, check out the first of three to receive the video treatment. This record is the perfect lifestyle song to bust moves and burn one whilst playing for the soundtrack. Savy comes in with the icy vocal tones, allowing his words to figure eight skate with finesse across the instrumental. The most notable quality for being a shorter record, is the imagery the song itself brings. Even without a video, I see a movie when listening to this freestyle. The video is humbling and telling of Savy’s character as he films at location of his childhood apartment complex. Being able to revisit where you come from allows you to remain pure as you set your goals towards a new place, that may be far from where you started. All in all, this visual is an ode to the authenticity of SavyBalboa and the company he keeps. Give it a listen and let us know what you think on our IG @theweatherwatcher. Be sure to follow @SavyBalboa on IG and Twitter. Oh yeah, go stream that “First Class: Red Eye” on all major platforms as well. Stay tuned for our upcoming on his latest EP!

It’s Friday.. you ain’t got no job and you don’t got shit to do. So you might as well bang that latest Episode of #OGFridayz by OG David James. The work ethic from the young Oxnard born, Reno raised artist is strong enough to clear the longest of unemployment lines. This week he goes in over that iconic Mac Miller instrumental for “Rap Diablo.” David quickly hops in his lyricist bag, displaying light work that could wash any novice’s best rhymes. “It’s the Rap Diablo, Ventura on the top floor. Money and some tree, I want the green, no avocado.” David lets the people know where he’s from and who he represents for. From the 805 up to the 775, he shows love to all the places you can find him at on any given week. Although it is just a 1 minute track, it is packed with enough punch lines and word play to get you some respect for playing this on the aux cord. A fun and infectious vibe fitting for anyone’s late night playlist. Watch the video and let us know what you thought on our IG @theweatherwatcher. To be honest, probably going to listen to this one often in the future. It’s a gem.

Zelda - Diamondz (official audio)
Hailing out of Elko, NV, Zelda from the 775 is back with another single. Her 4th since beginning her 2021 run in February. On April 14th, she dropped “Diamondz” on all major streaming platforms. “Diamondz” is a trance inducing record laden with introspective themes and infectious cadence. This time around Zelda focuses a little less on the lyrical aspect of her bar work. She lets her melodies take the wheel on this addictive record, showcasing an alternative side to her creativity.
